The Golden Dragon

The Golden Dragon short film will be back in production soon...I am putting it together and it should be up this week. This is a short animated feature meant for audiences all over the world. It contains minimal dialogue, and is done in the traditional animation style. It is about a 5 clawed Golden Imperial Dragon baby named Dao Ping. This is the most powerful of all the Zhou dynasty Dragons. He gets into some trouble and Xin a peaceful Panda & Chaz, an ambitious monkey must come to his rescue; or face the wrath of Dao Ping's father the Emperor of Dragons. It takes place in ancient China and several very talented animators worked on this production such as Leonard Robinson, Jacob Medjuck, and Chuck Harvey, along with myself and several others. I created it to pitch to China as the mascots for the 2008 Olympics. China went with their own mascots. I'd still like to bring this short feature to life using the traditional animation medium. I believe children and adults of all ages can enjoy the formula of a good short story and beautiful art to tell it with. Please stay tuned and look for our Kickstarter soon!
